What an authentic Viagra pill may look like
Brand tablets are commonly associated with a blue, diamond-like shape, but appearance varies by strength and market. Generic sildenafil can be white, blue, round, oval, or another approved shape. Counterfeiters can copy color and logos, so visual similarity is weak evidence.
How to identify a sildenafil tablet safely
- Check that it came from a licensed pharmacy.
- Compare the imprint, strength, manufacturer, and expiration date with the label.
- Inspect the seal and packaging for spelling, print, or lot inconsistencies.
- Ask a pharmacist to identify any unfamiliar tablet.

A reverse-image search or comparison with a promotional photograph cannot confirm the ingredient, strength, or storage history.

Information to preserve
Keep the box, blister, receipt, website address, seller messages, lot number, and photographs of both sides of the tablet. Do not mail or hand the product to an unknown party. Regulators or pharmacists may provide instructions for reporting and disposal.
If another person supplied the pill, do not take it even if they report a normal response. Their prescription and medical screening do not apply to you.
