Un étudiant Rennais retrouve son vélo volé en moins de 24 heures grâce à la communauté Facebook Vigivélo Rennes. Actif depuis le début du mois de Septembre le groupe Facebook fait partie d’une expérimentation lancée par CROWDLOC en partenariat avec inOut, un dispositif de soutien aux startups de Rennes Métropole.
Le 30 Octobre à 20h00 Sami sort du cinéma le TNB et découvre que son vélo, qu’il avait attaché devant l’entrée, a disparu. Il avait malencontreusement oublié son trousseau de clés sur le cadenas. « Lorsque j’ai appelé la police pour leur dire qu’on m’avait volé mon vélo, ils m’ont dit qu’à Rennes c’était monnaie courante et que je risquais de ne pas le retrouver », explique Sami. Sami, sans grand espoir de retrouver sa bicyclette, a néanmoins posté une photo sur Facebook pour signaler le vol. Le lendemain en début d’après midi, une autre personne déclare avoir trouvé un vélo identique dans les parages. Grâce à l’attention d’un membre du groupe Facebook Vigivélo Rennes le lien est fait entre les deux signalements, les deux personnes sont mises en relation par Vigivélo, et Sami retrouve son vélo.
